In solidarity with the Ukrainian people, the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris is calling on your generosity to help welcome students, researchers and academics affected by the war in Ukraine. During a year, a number of concrete actions have been put in place.
The Cité internationale universitaire de Paris has been the leading venue for international students and researchers in Paris for almost 100 years, and stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Together with architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it has designed a Virtual House of Ukraine. This highly symbolic project has become a tangible reality. Since the beginning of the conflict, 180 Ukrainian students and researchers have been welcomed in several of the 43 houses on campus.
To continue to welcome and support Ukrainian university refugees, the Cité internationale has launched an appeal for donations. The funds raised will be used to house and support students, researchers and academics affected by the war, and to set up an emergency aid fund.
The Cité internationale de Paris is a unique institution in the French university and institutional landscape. The Cité internationale is an asset in the pursuit of international attractiveness by offering a tailor-made welcome to international students and researchers.
